General

Who we are and what we stand for

Cricket Station is not a factory โ€” it's a workshop of master craftsmen. Every bat we create is hand-selected, hand-shaped, and hand-finished. We don't mass-produce; we handcraft. With over 25 years of heritage, 12 master artisans, and a relentless obsession with perfection, we create instruments that champions trust with their careers.

Founded in 2001 by master craftsman Rohan Sharma, Cricket Station has spent over 25 years perfecting the art of bespoke cricket bat making. What began as a single workshop in Mumbai has grown into India's most trusted name in handcrafted cricket equipment, serving champions in over 40 countries.

Absolutely. Our ambassador programme includes international batsmen, national captains, and all-rounders who trust Cricket Station for their most important innings. Many of our bespoke bats have scored centuries in first-class and international cricket.

Yes โ€” by appointment only. We welcome serious enthusiasts and prospective clients to tour our Mumbai workshop, meet our master craftsmen, and witness the creation process firsthand. Please contact us at least two weeks in advance to schedule a private visit.

Understanding our bat grades and collections

Grade 1+ โ€” Pristine straight grains, unblemished willow. The absolute pinnacle.
Grade 1 โ€” Premium straight grains with minor cosmetic marks. Exceptional performance.
Grade 2 โ€” Good grain structure with slight blemishes. Excellent value.
Grade 3 โ€” Irregular grains with visible marks. Great for practice and developing players.
Grade 4 โ€” Economy grade. Solid performance for beginners and net sessions.

A premium Grade 1 bat typically has 6โ€“10 straight, even grains. More grains don't always mean better โ€” what matters is the straightness, evenness, and spacing. Our master graders select each piece by hand, prioritising quality over quantity. A bat with 8 perfect grains will outperform one with 12 irregular grains every time.

It depends on your playing style and physique:
2lb 7oz โ€“ 2lb 8oz โ€” Light, quick bat speed. Ideal for front-foot players and those who value timing over power.
2lb 9oz โ€” Balanced. Perfect for all-round play.
2lb 10oz โ€“ 2lb 11oz โ€” Heavy. Maximum power for aggressive back-foot players.
Our configurator helps you find your ideal weight based on your style.

Pickup refers to how a bat feels in your hands โ€” specifically, where the weight is distributed. A bat can weigh 2lb 9oz but feel lighter or heavier depending on pickup:
High middle โ€” Feels lighter. Ideal for front-foot players.
Mid middle โ€” Balanced. Versatile for all shots.
Low middle โ€” Feels heavier. Maximum power for aggressive players.
During consultation, we'll help you find the pickup that matches your style.

Customisation

Making your bat truly yours

Absolutely. Our bespoke service includes:
โ€ข Player name engraving (+$25)
โ€ข Custom sticker designs (+$50)
โ€ข Personal engraving/mottos (+$40)
โ€ข Choice of grip colour
โ€ข Choice of sticker colour palette
Every detail is crafted to reflect your identity on the pitch.

A standard bespoke bat takes 3โ€“4 weeks from consultation to delivery. This includes willow selection, shaping, pressing, knocking-in, and finishing. Custom engravings and special designs may add 2โ€“3 days. We never rush the process โ€” quality takes time, and your bat deserves our full attention.

Minor changes (grip colour, sticker design) can be accommodated within 48 hours of placing your order. Once the willow has been selected and shaping has begun, changes become limited. Please contact our client relations team as soon as possible if you need to modify your order.

Standard (non-customised) bats can be returned within 14 days in original condition.

Yes. Every Cricket Station bat comes with our lifetime craftsmanship guarantee. This covers any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for the life of the bat.
