Welcome to Cricket Station. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, the purchase of our products, and the engagement of our services. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and Cricket Station ("we," "us," or "our").

Definitions

Throughout these Terms, the following terms shall have the meanings set out below:

• "Bespoke Bat" — A cricket bat customised to your specific measurements, preferences, and personalisation requests.
• "Standard Product" — A pre-made cricket bat or accessory available for immediate purchase without customisation.
• "English Willow" — The premium wood species (Salix alba caerulea) used in our handcrafted bats, graded from 1+ to 4.
• "Knocking-In" — The professional process of compressing willow fibres to prepare a bat for match play.
• "Order Confirmation" — The email receipt confirming acceptance of your order and payment.
• "Workshop" — Our atelier located in Mumbai, India, where all bespoke bats are handcrafted.

Products & Services

Cricket Station offers the following categories of products and services:

• Bespoke Cricket Bats: Handcrafted to your specifications using premium English willow.
• Standard Cricket Bats: Pre-made bats from our Signature, Master Class, and Heritage collections.
• Accessories: Gloves, pads, kit bags, bat oil, grips, and other cricket equipment.
• Combo Deals: Curated packages of bats and accessories at preferential pricing.
• Repair Services: Professional restoration of cricket bats regardless of brand or origin.
• Workshop Tours: Private visits to our Mumbai atelier by appointment.

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or limit the availability of any product or service at any time without prior notice.

Orders & Payment

Placing an Order

All orders are subject to acceptance by Cricket Station. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to: product unavailability, errors in pricing, suspected fraud, or violations of these Terms.

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

• Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
• PayPal
• Bank transfer (for orders exceeding $2,000 USD)
• UPI and Indian payment gateways for domestic orders
• EMI options on select orders (subject to approval)

Bespoke Order Deposits

For bespoke bat orders, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to commence production. The remaining balance is due before dispatch.

Pricing & Taxes

All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without prior notice, although confirmed orders will be honoured at the price at the time of purchase.

Prices exclude applicable taxes, customs duties, and import fees unless explicitly stated. International customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees levied by their country of destination.

Delivery & Shipping

Delivery Times

• Standard Products: 3–5 business days after order confirmation.
• Bespoke Bats: 3–4 weeks from consultation to delivery (may extend during peak season).
• Repair Services: 5–14 business days depending on complexity.
• International Shipping: 7–14 business days after dispatch.

Shipping Costs

Domestic (India) shipping is complimentary on all orders. International shipping is complimentary on orders over $1,500 USD. For smaller international orders, shipping starts at $45 USD and varies by destination.

Risk of Loss

All shipments are fully insured. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. In the rare event of loss or damage during transit, we will replace or refund your order at no additional cost.

Returns & Refunds

Standard Products

Standard (non-customised) products may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are:

• In original, unused condition
• In original packaging with all tags attached
• Accompanied by proof of purchase

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank to reflect the credit.

Warranty & Guarantee

Every Cricket Station bat is backed by our Lifetime Craftsmanship Guarantee. This covers:

• Manufacturing defects in materials
• Workmanship failures under normal use
• Handle separation not caused by misuse
• Structural faults in the blade

What is Not Covered

The following are not covered under our guarantee:

• Normal wear and tear from play
• Damage from misuse, neglect, or improper storage
• Cracks caused by playing with a damp or un-oiled bat
• Damage from use in inappropriate conditions (e.g., synthetic pitches without a toe guard)
• Surface blemishes that do not affect performance

Bespoke & Customisation Terms

When commissioning a bespoke bat, the following additional terms apply:

• Consultation: All bespoke orders begin with a consultation (in-person, video, or written) to confirm specifications.
• Specification Lock: Once production begins, changes to specifications may not be possible or may incur additional charges.
• Willow Selection: Our master craftsmen select the willow based on your requirements. Final grain patterns are unique and cannot be exactly replicated.
• Personalisation: Names, mottos, and engravings are final once approved. We are not responsible for spelling errors confirmed by the customer.
• Production Timeline: Estimated timelines are guidelines, not guarantees. Delays may occur due to willow seasoning, seasonal demand, or unforeseen circumstances.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, images, logos, designs, photographs, videos, and the Cricket Station brand — is the intellectual property of Cricket Station and is protected by international copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission. The Cricket Station name, logo, and all related marks are registered trademarks.

User Conduct

By using our website and services, you agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Scrape, data-mine, or systematically extract content from our website
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our website or servers

Violation of these provisions may result in termination of your access and legal action.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cricket Station shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of your use of our products or services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cricket Station, its founders, craftsmen, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of our website or services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Any misuse of our products contrary to our care instructions

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Before initiating legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us to attempt an amicable resolution. We are committed to fair and reasonable dispute resolution.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
